By operating two licensed restaurants in the Department of Hospitality (HT), IVE (Chai Wan), the Yum Sik Association has the following aims:
  • To provide a real context for the Hotel & Catering students to apply and assimilate the knowledge and skills learned in their F&B programs.
  • To enrich the students' experience in the production of a variety of cuisines and in serving customers.
  • To provide an occasional lunch/dinner venue for interested customers whose patronage is a help and an encouragement to young persons who will one day devote themselves to sustain Hong Kong's manpower in the hospitality industry.
  • To offer F&B delicacies to caring patrons through joint efforts of HT staff and students.
